Meet Our Hypnotist

"My name is Barrie Konicov. I am the author and voice of Potentials Unlimited® tapes. I began my hypnosis career in 1977 by conducting group "Weight Loss" and "Stop Smoking" classes in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of my classes I wrote and recorded two tapes, one for each class. I continued writing and recording and created over 200 programs. My Potentials Unlimited® tapes would set the standard for self hypnosis tapes & mp3's all over the world.

Over the years I trained at four hypnosis schools, and joined two hypnosis organizations. In 1981 I began training people to become hypnotists and started the World Congress of Professional Hypno-therapists.

I have written two books. The last one, "God Talks to Everyone", tells the Potentials Unlimited story and how I was guided to do this work."

The Family

Since Dad wrote those words our life as a family has gone through many phases. Now, approaching 70 years of age, and still writing, Dad has a new book in the works and several other projects which are highly anticipated. He makes his home in Kentucky, outside Lexington. There he is in semi-retirement, writing and living out his dream.

After working at her father's side for 15 years, Stephanie Konicov-Banfill received the company's torch from her father in 1991. She relocated the company to sunny Florida in 1996, and has been operating I.M.P.A.C.T. Publishing, Inc. (along with her crew) as the exclusive licensee of Potentials Unlimited products since then.

Barrie's products are available today, because of our repeat customers. Satisfied customers who bought our guided meditation and subliminal products back in the 70s, have children and grandchildren using our products today. Still family owned and operated, Steph, her mother (Susie) and brother (Gary, -that's me) are all working together in the home office while Dad shares with us from his homestead in Kentucky.
